Kankalini Temples (Mandir) is a highly esteemed hindu temple located in Bhardaha VDC, Saptari, Nepal. The temple is located around 19 kms east from Rajbiraj Municipality which is the headquarter of Saptari District and near the Saptakoshi River, in Mahendra Highway.
The temple draws people from Nepal and India. And especially during Dashain festival the place is busier and crowdy. During Dashian thousands of goats and Rangaas (Buffalo) are sacrifised for the Goddes Kanlalini or the Durga.
The belief is that the devotee’s wishes come true when they pray goddess with great devotion.
Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is in the north of the temple.
