After that, we visit the Todra Gorges or the Sahara desert before arriving in Marrakech as our final destination. Visitors will be captivated by Morocco’s unique architecture, elaborate craftsmanship, delectable cuisine, and vibrant souls.

Morocco 7 Day Itinerary – What to do in Morocco for a Week

Each of us enjoys traveling for different reasons. But, the unique factor that unites us is our sense of fun or adventure! There is probably something about Moroccan that will catch our eye.

Day 1: Tangier

It is our great decision to start the trip to Tangier. After that, we can travel through Morocco and explore it from north to south. We will spend the first full day in Tangier as part of our itinerary. There are we discovered some places such as:

  • Hercules Cave
  • Cape Spartel
  • The American Legation Museum
  • Café Culture

Day 2: Chefchaouen — Blue City

On the second day, we traveled to Chefchaouen. The route is well-liked by travelers who want to check out the town’s famous blue and white painted buildings. The main attractions of this place are exploring the medina’s narrow streets and admiring the vibrant architecture.

  • Seeing the Spanish Mosque in all its glory
  • Went to Kasbah
  • Went to the souk

Day 3: The Roman Ruins of Volubilis – Meknes

Chefchaouen’s charming lanes are the perfect place to stroll early in the morning. Next, we take a drive to the site where UNESCO designated it as a World Heritage Site. It is well-maintained.

After exploring the ruins, we traveled 30 km to Meknes. The city we explore is among the royal towns and is regarded as the capital of the Ismaili.

  • Day 4: Fez

Day 5: Sahara Desert

The trip from Fez to the Sahara Desert serves as a demonstration of the diverse environment of Morocco. Climbing a high dune offers a magnificent sunset view over the sand.

There is nowhere else where the dark sky is as beautiful as it is in the desert. As always, the Galaxies’ stars and constellations can be seen clearly. Merzouga’s Desert is a genuinely magnificent location.

Day 6: Gorges of Toudra

The Toudra Gorges are a red rock formation that we reach after leaving the dunes early in the morning. A central canyon was formed like the Todra River flowing through the mountains.

You can find several rock climbing routes in these gorges. Observe the beauty of the landscape while wandering through the gorges. There are no higher canyons in Morocco than those of Toudra.

Day 7: Visiting Marrakech

The reason Marrakech is a popular tourist spot is that it embodies the authentic soul of Morocco. You can only find the fascinating ambiance of the Red City Marrakech there. It’s particularly true, given the abundance of snake charmers, souks, and potions dealers around.

The city is jam-packed with glorious history, regional cuisine, and top-notch nightlife.
