Climb Island Peak is a 15 to 18 days trekking which costs around $2300 to $2500. Important documents and items you require are the Valid passports, 2 extra passport size photos and an airline tickets also you need Separate photocopies of passport, visa form (easily obtained at Kathmandu airport) and proof of insurance Dollars in cash for purchasing Nepalese visa at Kathmandu airport. You need Credit cards or bank/ATM/cash machine cards for withdrawing funds from cash machines so bring a photocopy of your cards.
The Climbing Gears you need are Ice axe plus Crampons plus Harness plus Tape slings (2) Plus Screw gate karabiners (2 locks, 2 unlock) plus Descender/eight figure plus Plastic mountaineering boots, Ascender/Jhumar, Helmet, Group Climbing Gears: etc.

The start when you climb island peak
At first, if you want to Climb Island Peak, you are requested to come to Kathmandu trying to be there on time.
In Kathmandu, you will get to stay in the Thamel which lies right in the central city.
If you arrive in the morning, you can do a half day trip around Kathmandu to many cultural sites.
Now next when you are going to Climb Island Peak you will start flying with Twin Otter flight to Lukla 2,840m/ 9,317ft, the start of the Khumbu Region. This is an adventurous flying, where you see Mt. Everest in the distance. In Lukla, you will be introduced to your trek staff and porters and will set off for our first resting for the day at Phakding.
Phakding is Situated on the banks of the Dudh Kosi River, It is the Major Water source for Khumbu Region, During the journey when you Climb Island Peak, you find here are a number of clean, well-built lodges where we will spend the night.
Dudh Koshi and Suspension Bridges During Island Peak Climbing
Now is the time when while you climb island peak we cross the confluence of the Dudh Kosi and the Bhote Kosi on a highly hung suspension bridge and then scale up for about two hours up to reach Namche Bazaar situated at 3,440m/ 11,286ft. This is the trading town and the capital of the Khumbu Region.
Many Tibetans commute in these areas. You see these sights when you climb island peak. This facilitates Trading Tibetan handicrafts for local and Tibetan traders alike. This route now leads to Thamserku and Kangtega, both very spectacular mountains.
Namche and Khumbu
From Namche, we follow the path we will get our first good views of the peaks of the Khumbu which is Everest along with Lhotse also Nuptse addition to Ama Dablam.
Passing by we will cross the Dudh Kosi River when you climb island peak and then climb to Tengboche which is the home of an impressive and recently rebuilt monastery.
Tengboche is at 3,900m/ 12,795ft and the village of Deboche is 3,700m/ 12,135.
Perche and Ama Dablam
We then trek to Pheriche and return back which acts as good acclimatization when you climb island peak.
Now to the Imja Valley when you climb island peak and across the north of Ama Dablam towards the amazing lakes and stunning glaciers then head back to Dingboche.
We will go to the valley where Pheriche is located, with the best views all around, leading to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft).
Bye Bye Everest Base camp
Now since you have come to climb island peak, after a breakfast we will leave Everest base camp and from Dingboche, we hike up to Chucking located at 4,700m/ 15,420ft. We will practice abseiling, Jumaring and get used to your climbing equipment when you climb island peak.
We will rest up and get a good nights sleep.
Yaks and Yetis! when you climb island peak!
We will take our time this morning, packing up all gear load them to the yaks when you Climb Island Peak. We may do some ladder crossing training before heading off to Island Peak Base Camp.
Depending on how long this takes, we may have an early lunch in Chucking before heading towards Island peak base camp.
The hike up to Island peak base will take 3 to 4 hours. There are an amazing glacier and lake with more stunning views of the Imja valley.
Now we make a 2 hours hike up to Island peak high camp at 5,500m/ 18,045ft.
Then we will make our summit attempt on Island Peak 6,189m/ 20,305ft, Now you finally climb Island peak!
