It is a well-known name for the trekking in the Central Region of Nepal. The route is of 160-230 Km and depends upon the transportation available in some places. Some of the transportation facilities are available at end of the trekking.  There is a lot of enjoyment in this trek. Mount Annapurna is the top 10th highest mountain in the world and eighth highest mountain in Nepal.

Many foreigners attain or enjoy this trek like the enjoyment of the life. Also, there are numerous mountains and peaks that are to be crossed on the route of the trek.

Touching the edge of the Tibetan plateau, Thorung La passes from the altitude of 5,416 m the trekking is started. The interesting thing about this trek is you can pass two river valleys and encircles the Annapurna chain also, known as the highest peak of the trek.

The trekkers walk in the counterclockwise and then day by day the height of crossing is increased. Thorung La pass is easier and almost safe. There is some good scenery seen closer are Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak and Annapurna I-IV. Numerous peaks rise from the range of Annapurna, ranging from 6000-8000 m.

The trekkers reach Besisahar or Bhulbhule in Marsyangdi river valley and then concludes in Kali Gandaki Gorge. But, Besisahar can be reached within 7 hours of drive from Kathmandu.

There were many blocks in the Annapurna Base Camp is the past. There is now no such ban but most of the places are now open for the trekkers in the enjoyment of the trek. Most of the places like Upper Mustang, Naar-Pho Valley, Manaslu and Tsum Valley are now opened for the trekkers.

These are the places that require a lot of expenses and is for the limited time only. As these places are not managed properly. Annapurna Base Camp is now wide open so it is in the historical shape and is highly voted trek route of Nepal.

How Long Does It Take To Finish Off Annapurna Base Camp Trek Trip?

The whole trek takes 15/19 days to complete and also depends upon the trekker’s speed of trekking. First of all, we leave form Kathmandu and at final we reach Pokhara which is preferred as our destination.
